Who we are
IELTS Speaking Practice is an online IELTS Speaking practice product. We run timed mock interviews with an AI examiner, mark answers on official-style criteria, and store results so you can review them. We are not affiliated with Cambridge, IDP, or the British Council.

subclaim), and whether Google has verified that email. We request only theopenid, email, andprofilescopes. - Authentication data. Email and password accounts are created in Google Cloud Identity Platform. We do not store your raw password. Session cookies are stored on your device so you stay signed in.

- Create or sign you into your IELTS Speaking Practice account
- Show your name on the dashboard
- Send account, security, and interview-related messages
- Match a paid Stripe subscription to the correct account
We do not use Google user data for advertising, credit scoring, or unrelated profiling. We do not sell Google user data. We do not allow humans to read Google user data unless you ask us to, it is required for security or legal reasons, or the data is aggregated and no longer identifiable. This use complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How we use other personal information
- Provide mock interviews, scoring, and history
- Enforce plan limits and process payments through Stripe
- Send email activation and essential service messages
- Secure the service, prevent abuse, and debug failures
- Comply with law and respond to valid legal requests
Legal bases
Where GDPR or similar laws apply, we process data to perform the contract you enter by creating an account, to pursue legitimate interests in running a secure practice service, and to meet legal obligations. Google Sign-In is based on your consent, which you can withdraw by disconnecting Google access in your Google Account permissions and deleting your IELTS Speaking Practice account.
How we share information
We share data only with processors who help us run the product:
- Google Cloud. Identity Platform (sign-in and activation emails), Cloud SQL (application database), Vertex AI (live examiner and scoring), and Cloud Run (hosting).
- Stripe. Customer and subscription identifiers needed to charge for a plan and manage billing.
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect users, or as part of a merger or transfer of the service, with the same privacy commitments.
Cookies and sessions
We use an HTTP-only session cookie after you sign in, and a short-lived cookie to protect Google Sign-In from CSRF. These cookies are necessary for authentication. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
Data retention
Account, subscription, and interview records are kept while your account is open so you can review past mocks. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete or irreversibly anonymise personal data unless we must keep a limited record for legal, tax, or security reasons. Stripe may retain payment records under its own policy.
Security
Traffic is served over HTTPS. Passwords are stored by Google Cloud Identity Platform using industry-standard hashing. Database access is restricted to the application servers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please use a unique password.
International transfers
We host on Google Cloud. Your information may be processed in the regions where those services operate, including the European Union and the United States, with the safeguards those providers offer.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your information, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email aayush68n@gmail.com. You can also delete Google Sign-In access from your Google Account. You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Children
The service is intended for people who are preparing for IELTS and can form a contract. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy. The "Effective" date above will change, and we will post the new version at https://speakingtest.online/privacy. Material changes will be highlighted in the product or by email when required.
